How the dry nights tracker works
One question a night. That's the whole habit.
Tell it your number, once.
How many drinks a week, what they cost you, and how many dry nights you want. Damp turns that into money and mornings, in your numbers, not ours.
Tap once a night.
At 9pm (or whenever you pick) your phone asks "Dry tonight?" Tap Dry right from the notification. Had a drink? Tap that and say how many. No guilt screen.
Watch it add up.
A streak of dry nights, this week against your goal, the money you kept. A card at 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, 100 and 365 nights. Post it or don't.
What Damp looks like
Four screens do nearly all the work.

Home: your streak, your week, one button.
Setup: what your drinking costs, in your numbers.
Had a drink? Say how many. That's it.
A card at every milestone. Share it or keep it.
What you get back when you cut back on drinking
At 10 drinks a week and $8 a drink, that's
$4,160
a year on alcohol. In calories, that's
39 days of food
Four dry nights a week gives you
$2,377
of it back. Every year. Plus the mornings. Run it with your own numbers.
An alcohol tracker without quitting
Most apps in this category are built around stopping for good. Most people just want fewer nights and less regret. That's the damp lifestyle, and this is the app for it.
A drinking night is a number.
Not a failure, not day one again. Your streak resets. Your savings and your history stay.
Nights, not drinks.
Logging every unit is a chore you'll quit by week two. A dry night is one tap, and one tap is a streak.
No coach, no course, no community.
Just the loop. If you want a text coach there are apps for that at three times the price.
Good for a dry month too.
Set the goal to 7 nights a week and it becomes a Dry January tracker. Go back to 4 in February.

Sunnyside and Reframe are about $100 a year. Damp does the part that works, for a fifth of that.
Private by design
What you tap is nobody's business.
No account. No server.
There's no sign-in and nothing to sync. Your nights, your numbers and your reasons stay on your iPhone and are deleted when you delete the app.
Nothing about you.
Damp may record anonymous usage events, like "night logged", to improve the app. Never the numbers you enter, never anything tied to you. No ad identifiers, no data sales. Read the privacy policy.

Questions
The ones people ask before they download.
Do I have to quit drinking to use Damp?
No. Damp is for drinking less, not never. You pick a goal of 3, 4, 5 or 7 dry nights a week. If you're stopping completely, 7 works for that too. Either way, a drinking night is a number, not a failure.
What if I forget to log a night?
The next morning the home screen asks "Forgot last night?" with two buttons. Nights you never log don't count either way; they don't break your streak and they don't add to it.
How is "money kept" calculated?
You tell Damp your usual drinks per week and what a drink costs you. Every logged night is compared to that baseline. A dry night keeps a night's worth; a lighter night keeps the difference. It's your numbers, so it's as honest as you are.
Can I use Damp for Dry January or Sober October?
Yes. Set your goal to 7 dry nights a week for the month and tap once a night. If you have a drink partway through, your streak resets, but your dry-night count, your savings and your history stay. The month still counts.
How much does Damp cost?
The yearly plan is $19.99 and starts with a 7-day free trial. Monthly is $3.99. Lifetime is $29.99, paid once. Purchases go through Apple, and you can cancel a subscription any time in Settings on your iPhone.
Does it see what I drink or where?
No. It knows what you tap and nothing else. There's no account and no server.
Is this medical advice?
No. Damp is a habit tracker. If drinking feels out of control, please talk to a doctor. In the US, SAMHSA's free, confidential helpline is 1-800-662-4357.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. If enough people ask at hello@usedamp.app, it moves up the list.
Damp is not a substitute for professional help. If you or someone you know is struggling with alcohol, SAMHSA's National Helpline is free, confidential and open 24/7: 1-800-662-4357.
Tonight can be the first one.
Tell it your numbers once. After that it's one tap a night.
